I can’t do it any more [A LESSON]

It came as a curve ball...

I was hosting one of my regular mastermind sessions with a group of business owners just like you a couple of weeks ago when John, who runs a very good photography business came out with those very words that you see above.

"I can't do it any more Jim."

There were tears in his eyes as he spoke those words.

You see, John's business is doing okay.

He is profitable.

He has a good customer base.

His marketing works.

He is never short of shoots.

But he had a problem.

He was being pulled in too many directions.

He was being the photographer. The editor. The account manager. The admin. The finance team.

You see, as he has grown his business he has been reticent to recruit new team members as they would cost too much.

But when we looked at how the UK market looks when you view revenue per employee it dawned on him.

So I showed him this - which comes from our new Business Growth Training programme with data from the CBI.

It shows that solopreneurs average £68k turnover per year, whereas companies with 1-9 employees (where the average is actually 4 employees) have an average turnover of £515k, or £129k per employee!

So John needs to find people to do the things that will free him up to generate more money.

He can now see it and is building the plan.

So where are you on this scale?
