How well prepared are you for things to go wrong?

Think you've got everything under control?

Well let me introduce you to two people that I have come to learn a lot about recently.

Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams.

Household names? Probably not yet.

But they have been making the news on and off for the past few weeks.

You see, these two Americans are astronauts from NASA who arrived at the International Space Station in June this year with a view that they would complete some remedial works and return to Earth just eight days later.

But guess what?

They are still there.

Now they knew very early on that there were problems that meant they wouldn't be able to return home until at least early 2025.

Yes they are highly trained individuals who are "pressure-tested" to operate in highly intense environments but even so....

It won't be easy.

But they have dealt with a challenge that came from beyond their control.

Much like us as entrepreneurs.

So this week take some time to think about what could go wrong in your business and how you can ensure it doesn't derail you.

This will mean that only the unthinkable can happen.

Let's just hope it doesn't take you "out of this world!"
