There was a follow up opportunity to chat to us and some people took the leap to grab 20 minutes with William or I.
However when we got our heads togerher and chatted through our notes, we found one thing kept coming up.
Nearly everyone we spoke to were making a similar mistake.
They hadn't really understood what their prospect wanted to move them to say yes.
You see, everyone has their own motivation to buy the thing you offer - and whilst you may see two people who look the same, want to spend the same and tell you that they have the same issue, their motivations are different.
And it was the fact that a lot of those business owners we spoke to (many of whom were doing well) were missing a simple trick....
They didn't truly understand what the prospect wanted.
Truly.
Yes. Not what they said they wanted.
What they truly wanted.
What they "wanted" was a solution to their challenge - the reason to purchase.
But what they "truly wanted" was their itch to be scratched and for them to achieve their central issue.
And this comes down to two key things for most.
For those people with money, they want more time.
And vice versa.
We saw that from our conversations.
Those business owners that had money, lacked time - they hadn't got off the hamster wheel.
And those that had time, didn't have the money - they didn't know how to optimise their offer.
So really think about what your customers want - not just the superficial result that your product delivers, but the deep down thing that really makes your offer unmissable.
