Yep, I know it is hard to believe but I made a mistake.
I fell into the trap that I tell everyone to avoid.
But doing the right thing is never doing the wrong thing.
And do you know what?
Nothing bad happened.
I have been talking to clients over the past few months and there was a theme for some that for them to change their business into the success they wanted it to be, they needed to do different things.
Something bigger.
Something better.
Something DIFFERENT.
But when you think about it, that may not be true.
And that is why I coined the phrase,
"To have the success you want you don't have to do different things...you may just have to do things differently..."
Genius eh?
I can see myself on motivational quotes on boardroom walls well into the next century!!!
But seriously I thought I would share this on LinkedIn.
So I set about creating an image, wrote the text and then uploaded it - scheduling for the following morning.
And then it went live.
I got some positive feedback and a couple of phone calls about it - all good news.
Life was good.
And then about a week later, a client of mine sent me a Whatsapp message which read:
"Happy New Year hope you had a good one. Think you've missed a word out of your inspiring quote."
I've helped you by highlighting it below.

Yep - I'd missed a "do!"
The key thing here was that I wanted to get it out there to help people to think differently.
And whilst there was a typo, and that makes my teeth itch, my mantra of perfection killing progression is key here.
Everyone commenting, or talking to me about it, thanked me for the words.
They didn't tell me that there was a typo.
Well everyone except one person.
So don't let a desire to be perfect produce a lack of speed and stop your ability to get stuff done.
