Too many of my clients when I first work with them are limited with fixed mindsets and it is not really all their fault.
You see, we are brought up to think about the risks of what we could do and the repercussions about it going wrong.
But what if we liberate ourselves a little bit.
Bear with me as this isn't going to be painful.
It's all about thinking.
I want you for the next week to think about everything in your business that you do - the emailing to your clients, your quoting new prospects, your engagement with people who open conversations with you - EVERYTHING.
And rather than think about doing everything the way you always do...
Think about what you could do with the exact same circumstance if money was no object.
This is what I call the "Rolls Royce Thinking" method.
So, imagine a customer buys a product from you and you send it to them. How would you normally do it - courier, postal service, standard delivery.
STOP!
Think about what you could do if money was not an issue. You would probably deliver it a different way - imagine their feeling if their delivery was chauffeur delivered in a Rolls Royce...
NOW STOP AGAIN!
You are probably not able to afford that - but what could give a similar feeling without the cost of a Rolls Royce by doing things slightly different.
- Deliver tracked and inform them of the arrival time.
- Send in a gold coloured box.
- Include a free "something" that wasn't mentioned on their order.
It doesn't have to cost the earth - or a Rolls Royce - it's all about the thinking!
So start thinking!
