The Biggest Challenge in Business & The Eurovision Song Contest

I recently asked my Mastermind group what was their biggest challenge when they first started working with us and what their biggest challenge is today...

The results amazed me somewhat.

You see, they all came into the group about two and half years ago, and despite all of the "noise" they all had the same issue - they just couldn't see it....

They cited not being able to recruit, having poor team members, not ebing able to charge the right amount for their "thing", selling loads but having little money left every month, struggling to keep up with costs, the economy, the cost of living crisis, the war in Ukraine, and one even mentioned the Eurovision Song Contest (I kid you not!)

But the one thing that they were all really struggling with was the fact that they...

...struggled to attract customers, deliver their product or service well to them and delight them so they either came back, or told their friends about them.

Yes, all of the other things played their part (even the pain in "nul points") but they didn't have systems and methods to ensure a consistent flow of the right customers into their businesses.

So we set about supporting them with their strategy, and then develop some tactics that they could all put in place to solve this.

And every single one of them is in a better place than before.

The power in that day we spent together was not in the building out of the plan, but the identifying the true challenges in their businesses.

You see, sometimes we are too close to things, too caught up in the detail, and rely on the thing we hear the most in the media as to the reason things aren't working - but it is not about that.

So think about the biggest challenge in your business.

What is it?

And is it really that?

Speak soon.
